World of Beer locations around the country will have an excellent selection of pilsners starting next week.
Beginning Feb. 16 through March 15, WOB has assembled an extraordinary collection of world-renowned and local pilsners to give guests a firsthand experience of this iconic golden brew. A special tapping of unfiltered, unpasteurized Pilsner Urquell beer on March 12 will give guests an exclusive taste of the golden original. What’s more, pilsner fans can enter for a chance to win a trip to Plzen, Czech Republic, home of the Pilsner Urquell brewery and birthplace of the world’s first pilsner.
If you’ve never gone in for Pilsner before then you should take the opportunity to give it another try. There is a lot of subtlety in this bready, crisp style that is worth exploring.
