Vermont has quietly become one of America’s premier craft beer destinations, and Fiddlehead Brewing is a big reason why. After jumping from #23 to #17 on the 2025 national Top 50 list, the rest of the country is finally catching on.

Appearance

Hazy amber-gold with a soft, lasting white head. Inviting and Vermont-rugged.

Aroma

Lush tropical fruit — guava, pineapple, and mango — with a supporting cast of floral and citrus notes. The hops are front and center, but not aggressive.

Taste

Juicy and tropical from the first sip. The hop character is bright and fresh, with a gentle bitterness that builds pleasantly. A biscuity malt backbone keeps things grounded.

Mouthfeel

Medium-bodied and smooth, with just the right level of carbonation.

Bottom Line

Fiddlehead IPA is the kind of beer that makes you proud to call New England home — or jealous that you don’t. One of the finest IPAs coming out of Vermont right now.
